In addition to Shy Girls' original work, the Portland-dwelling artist has the chops when it comes to his production work, and exemplifying this fact is his newly minted remix of Elliphant's MØ-assisted "One More". Starting with Elliphant’s whispery, seemingly secret plea, “Come on now, sugar", Shy Girls initiates the remix, and later, the original's synth-pop elements fully bloom. The energy, urgency, and authenticity of the singer’s plea grows, but then Dan Vidmar’s (Shy Girls) begins to weave in a diverse set of electronic sounds prompting head and hip swaying. The defiant and seductive lyrics reveal why "sugar" should come on now, and Vidmar’s sonic influence is not just heard, but felt. Where the last bit of the original track gets a little slower and anthemic, too, the remix continues to intensify and inspire the aforementioned motion. Elliphant’s begging combined with Shy Girls’ creative edge on the track keeps your ears pining for more.
