Although Elliot Moss released his debut album, Highspeeds, back in 2013, it's since been retracted from his Bandcamp page and now has a new release date on April 28. We checked the past tracklist and "Best Light" was not on it, so if you think you've already heard this track, think again. Also, not only is the track one you've never heard before, but it's probably the best we've heard from Elliot since he first exploded on the scene with "Slip". Elliot's track starts out sounding like something you would expect from him (ethereal vocals over downtempo production), but midway through the affair, he flips the script and kicks the tempo up a notch to give it more of an upbeat house flair. It's not something you'd expect at all from him given his prior work, but if it happens to spell a new direction for his sound, we're all completely for it. Pre-order Highspeeds on iTunes.
