The juxtaposition of dark themes in lyrics with upbeat pop sounds makes for really enjoyable music, and Los Angeles artist Ella Vos has capitalized on that for her latest release, "Down in Flames." Over and over, she coos, "If we're going down, we're going down in flames", and, when you hear those lyrics, it's almost hard to believe the striking verses they're upon are featured above a track that is both inviting and whimsical. All surprises aside, though, Ella Vos has been hitting on every track she's released, so you're definitely going to want to continue keeping an eye and ear out for her.
