It's a beautiful thing when artists decide to offer more than the music they make. There's nobody forcing them to create in the first place (we don't think), and there's certainly no reason to expect them to contribute on top of the art they're already willing to share, often times free of charage. A few individuals are selfless enough to do all they can to make a difference, though, and we're elated to see one of our favorites, El. Train, among the ranks of the most kind. Acknowledging his inability to grow facial hair for the month in which it pays to, El. Train has figured on another way to donate. He's decided to undertake the artistically arduous task of pumping out a production a day throughout the month, asking for a minimal monetary investment in return. At the end of the month, all profit earned will be sent to the Movember Foundation, a global charity organizer aiming to raise awareness for, and combat, prostrate and testicular cancer as well as mental health challenges. Yesterday El. Train began the event by posting the first of what we hope will be, in fact, thirty tracks. "Give You More Love" is the name of the iconic electronic production of his incorporating synths and samples emblazoned with trademark El. train enthusiasm, and we're definitely looking forward to hearing the rest of the creations the UK producer has up his charitable sleeve.
