The world of obscure electronic music is completely flourishing right now, largely as a result of the fact that so many creative minds can easily access professional production software. Since there's such a large quantity of genre-demolishing songs, therefore, we need to be careful about what we call quality as opposed to what remains simply as an interesting concept (in other words, a sound too raw for the ears to receive in earnest). EDARCY, a Melbourne-based producer, is definitely straddling the line here with his track "Flux", though, we've come to the conclusion that he's successfully conjured a perplexing track that doesn't sacrifice quality for the sake of being unique. A puzzling mesh of sounds introduces "Flux", and it exponentially builds until popping open and revealing a stupefying array of sparse synths, unconventional percussion, and peculiar electronic bits. The song's structure is absolutely mind-boggling, as it throws colossal synths at you one second, and completely pulls them away the next (only to slam them right back at you while you're off guard).
