Parisian-based singer-songwriter Echo has just dropped her latest project, and, of course, it’s already left us in a daze. After the scintillating teaser accompanied by Persian Empire, Echo has released her long-awaited four-piece EP featuring production from the likes of AKEDA and Tulpa. Her poignant vocals atop their sounds are not the only standout characteristics on Midnight Chronicles, however. She shifts through pitches meticulously, and you can almost put yourself in her shoes due to the sheer warmth she exposes with every word emitted. With our highlighted cut, "Chose," we see AKEDA (a beatmaker we are more than familiar with here at HD) failing to dishearten on the piece, as he aids Echo with his subtle hat rolls, tickling keys, and overflow of soothing percussion. It's a complete and captivating track in all, and if you've not yet explored the remaining contents on the EP (found HERE on Bandcamp), allow "Chosen" to serve as your shining introduction.
