We first highlighted Brooklyn duo Easy Lover back in August with the first single "The Sweet" from their upcoming EP The Night We Breathe, and now today HillyDilly is more than proud to present the premiere of their second single "New Olivia". With the release of The Night We Breathe less than two weeks away, "New Olivia" is the perfect track to re-up the hype. Once again Kali Holloway's vocals are front and center, soaring easily above Jeremy Wimmer's production without become separated from the whole of the song. Her voice reverberates with impossible-to-ignore charm and warmth, and you just know she would be as incredible live as she is coming from your speakers. And while the vocals are a definite highlight, that's not to say the production is lacking in any sense, in fact it's the opposite - it's the minimalism and the way the sounds mix, the rising and peaking valleys of guitar and drums and everyday sounds that give Holloway's voice a chance to rise and a cushion should it ever fall, which it doesn't.
