With the anticipation of Earl's album, Doris which drops on August 20th, we were able to hear a small preview of this track last week, as well as more trailers for "Sprinkler", "Fence Jump", and "Mocha Desire". Yesterday Earl Sweatshirt decided to officially release this Pharrell produced cut, "Burgundy". Pharrell adds his signature touch of dirty snares, horns and keys which paved the perfect way for Earl to come in with his quick tongue discussing his new found fame and depression while Cali's Vince Staples (also featured on "Hive") mocks him, "Why you so depressed and sad all the time like a little bitch?". The wordplay of this OF youngin' leaves no room for disappointment. Doris is set to release on August 20th, pre-orders are now available on ITunes.
