It feels like dvsn just released their first track only a few months ago, but, already, they've a full-length album, SEPT. 5TH, out for us to enjoy. Last night, the pair surprise-released their debut project at midnight after the event was announced on OVO Sound Radio via OVO Sound founder Oliver El-Khatib. Normally, such a quick release rollout is frowned upon when it comes to artist development, but in the case of these two here, conventionality has no place. Their music is amazing enough to drop whenever—and however—they want. "The Line" and "With Me", two tracks the pair released early on, started the buzz for them, but over the next couple of weeks with their play counts piling up, it was becoming clear that they had some serious weight behind them. From that point, they dropped two great cuts in "Too Deep", and "Hallucinations", and now with the rest of their album out, we can confidently say that SEPT. 5TH is already one of the year's best bodies of work. There's not a single bad track on it, and you're going to be wondering just which one your favorite is after you listen to them all. SEPT. 5th is available on iTunes now.
