Durkin has been putting out a steady stream of quality tracks for the past year or so, but his latest release, “Let You Know,” really ups the game. The track has a chill, relaxed, tempo reminiscent of something Ratatat might put out. However, Durkin separates himself from the crowd by building his music from the ground up with sounds and beats more at home on a Noah Shebib track then an indie electronic release. Lets hope Durkin continues to hone this distinct flavor of production, because this is definitely a musical niche that deserves some attention.
