We feel electronic music experienced a creative explosion a few years ago but has been increasingly generic and monotonous since. However, there are definitely still exciting acts making music under that umbrella, and Australian talent Dritic is the latest to impress. Though he has been around for a few years now, we think he is underrated, and we hope to draw attention to Polaroid, his newest EP. Regardless of genre, great songwriting wins us over, and Dritic has some knack for crafting deeply personal, yet easily listenable tunes. He combines gloomy guitar riffs, distorted vocals, and unique electronic throughout this project, and it results in a sound that's colossal, yet intimate. Because of this, we anticipate more Dritic brilliance in the future, and we'll surely be watching for it from here.
