Like many other talented acts, Dream Koala has accumulated a respectable following by dropping off occasional, but always impressive remixes and pieces of original material. Today, he's released his debut EP, Earth. Home. Destroyed, containing the previously featured track "Saturn Boy" as well as four additional tracks. "Earth" stood out to us the most of the new songs, and with just one listen, we can guarantee you'll know exactly why. Dream Koala begins the track with his soft vocals atop a placid array of smooth synths, which are then layered with subtle percussion. However, when the track hits the 1:46 mark, something phenomenal happens; a rapidly fluctuating set of synths is introduced, increasing in volume until reaching the peak of the crescendo. From there, the track breaks off into a chaotic spectrum of paradoxical sonic material, resulting in quite the exhilarating listening experience.
