Drake has had an incredible 2015. From his hits-heavy mixtape earlier in the year, to his short-lived beef with Meek Mill (it produced some of the best tracks of the year), to his rumored fourth studio album, he's been on absolute fire. Now today, he's teamed up with Future for the joint mixtape, What a Time To Be Alive. What a Time boasts fervent, hard-hitting production from Drake's right-hand man, 40, and it also sees work from executive producer Metro Boomin, Southside, Boi-1da, Allen Ritter, Frank Dukes, and Neenyo. They essentially set the standard for modern hip-hop production on the project, and, even though we've an artist we haven't covered before in Future splitting time with Drake atop it all, we've got to admit that everyone's sounding pretty darn good here. "Scholarships", "Diamonds Dancing", "Plastic Bag", "30 for 30 Freestyle", and "Change Locations" go to show just how many bangers they've together created on the tape, and, it goes without saying, but, we'll be having this stuff on rotation for the immediate future and beyond.
