If New Jersey-based Donna Missal isn't an artist you're familiar with yet, her new track, "The Keeper", should more than suffice as an introduction to her hazy, instantly absorbing sound. (It's one that's been consistently improving with each release.) Kneading a variety of styles that revolve around soul, primarily, the piece meanders through melancholic, nostalgia-filled sonic flavors, only to be continually bolstered by Missal's stunning, stirring vocal tone. It's another impressive piece by the up-and-comer, and it's proof again that you're going to want to keep your eyes and ears on her ahead.
