Women in hip-hop and R&B are killing it right now, and, while one particular Doja Cat may not be as universally known as some of her peers, she is still releasing fire. Her brand-new single, "Candy" is a trap-heavy hip-hop and R&B combination, and it brings together a skittering and powerful beat and stellar, sweet vocals. The release highlights Doja's nice vocal while demonstrating her versatility and fluidity within sounds, and, though we think her work's always great, "Candy" in particular sticks out.
