Growing up listening to hip-hop in the late 90's & 00's was simply not complete without a few Do or Die & Johnny P collaborations. A seasoned listener will always point to their first breakout track "Po Pimp" from 1996, but when I think back on Do Or Die, I always think of these two tracks that came later in their career in 2003 on their 5th album, "Pimpin' Aint Dead". The crooner, Johnny P, was solely known as the guy who sang all the hooks on Do or Die's albums. It got to a point, that when you looked at the track list of any Do or Die album, you looked for Johnny P's name because chances were very good that those cuts were going to be the best off the album. 9 times out of 10 that was definitely the case.
