DJ Joe Block is a 19-year-old "manboy" that doubles (or quadruples) as an artist, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ from the DMV, and his latest "Skin Canvas" instrumental is definitely the stuff of a seasoned musical artist. It's got elements of hip-hop, bass, electronic, chillwave, and even some jazz fusion in it, and the amalagamation of the elements provide for a truly unique track. According to DJ Joe Block, "Skin Canvas" is the "alright" result of some experimental efforts with recording samples off of his home drum kit, but we're going to have to supplant his own humble opinion with ours here, because we think the track stuns; it bangs, it allures, it enchants, and it makes us wonder how in the world he has as small of a following as he does. We're sure "Skin Canvas" will create several converts, though.
