We really don't know anything about the Gold Coast act or artist, Deuxième, but the sound coming forth from the artistic entity is one that's as exotic as the name behind it. We've seen this exact occurrence countless times before, but it never grows old when the sound grows new, and the two tracks we came across earlier today, "Royal" and "A How To", reek of uniqueness. The first listed track below, "Royal", has on it jungle-evoking instruments, Cashmere Cat-like vocal clips, surreal-sounding synths, and really, a mystical vibe all the way around. It translates to a celestial kind of listening experience, and the ear-expanding progression of the track ensures engagement from start to finish. "A How To", the other effort we've highlighted from the artist or outfit (we've only one picture of Deuxième's to base our assumptions of him, her, or them off of, and we don't even know if it's of them or not, so bear with our lack of knowledge here) is less uncanny, more polished, and just as intriguing as "Royal", so give it your time if you're able to. Bells, instrumentations, and more manipulated vocals line the effort, and it's another exotic atmosphere with which you can easily lose yourself and your imagination into. Who knows what Deuxième's got next for us, but though we can contemplate, we can, too, revel in what mysterious sonic delights "Royal" and "A How To" represent. Additionally, Deuxième's some more material that can be accessed through Bandcamp, so check that out if you're digging what's listed here.
