If there's one thing we've learned in our time running Hillydilly, it's to never underestimate the amount of undiscovered musical talent out there, specifically in Australia. Yesterday, we discovered an absolutely breathtaking example of downtempo brilliance from the Perth-based producer, Tenru, and today, we're bringing you another incredibly talented Aussie act in the form of Deuces. The electronic production duo popped up on the internet about a year ago, and ever since then, they've been dropping off a couple tracks here and there, but nothing as phenomenal as their most recent release, "Sorry About You". Deuces introduces their single with a set of Flume-like synths and some fluttering vocal chops, which are quickly matched with a heavy electronic drum kit. The production here is meticulous, and as the piece progresses through multiple stages of glimmering synths, deep bass, and celestial melodies, the quality is never compromised. It's engaging throughout, and, after just a few listens to the track, we've no doubt that the two men are on track to make some serious waves.
