Yes, Destiny's Child's "Say My Name" has been beaten senseless with remixes and bootlegs alike, but when it comes time to have Cosmo's Midnight turn an original of any kind around, all formerly heard efforts fly out the window. There's not a handful of producers on the planet able to match Cosmo's Midnight's jubilant tone, and, as we see on their warping of "Say My Name" here, there's nothing but sonic ecstasy to take from their additions. With clapping percussion to kick the bootleg into motion, pleasurably pitched vocals sampled throughout, and fluttering synths to supplement either, their high-flying electronic is again on display, and we wouldn't want it any other way.
