Just a few months ago, London newcomer Desta French made her presence known for the first time with debut offering, "Take You For Dead". We've had the track in circulation for quite some time from that point, but we've definitely been ready for another dose of her seductive, synth-soaked sound, and, today, she's supplying us with that in the form of new single "Like No Other". Once again, Desta showcases her sultry vocals atop fresh synths and percussion, but, this time around, there are some more unique nuances in the mix like Latin American-styled guitar that works to diversify her sound. We enjoy all the elements we're picking up on, and, while we're unsure whether Desta plans to accumulate her songs into a larger body of work, we're just pleased to have new music from her at all.
