We've been huge fans of denitia and sene. ever since they first popped up on our radar over a year ago. The duo specializes in what they refer to as "chilled-out, futuristic soul vibes", and this description is about as accurate as it gets. Through the distinctive style, the two have been gaining a fair amount of buzz, and with their brand-new track, "runnin.", they're set to gain even more. The minimalistic beat on the track features some heavy bass hits and sparse claps, but not too far into the track, a strangely altered vocal layer presents itself. This might catch you off guard at first (as it did with us), but don't be dismayed, because it'll quickly grow on you. Shortly after these distorted vocals, Denitia contributes exactly what the song needs with her soft, refreshing croon, and together with Sene, she turns "runnin." into one of the more obscure works of electronic-soul that we've heard in a while. Keep an eye out for denitia and sene.'s upcoming EP, side fx., set for release on November 11 via Red Bull Sound Select and Rinse FM.
