Manchester-based artists Jonny Gavin and Adam Rowley (Demons of Ruby Mae) are artists to keep an eye out for in 2014. Since their inception two years ago, the collaborative pair has received praise from the Northern UK blogosphere for their beautifully haunting and deeply evocative sound, and coming back to treat us this week, they return with their newest original track, "Beneath The Surface". It's a gradually building rhythm in it, and the individuals are able to weave the work into a true piece of art when the percussion instruments make an entrance as the song's core. The heart-warming vocals, too, embed themselves in your brain as guitar melodies swoon you off your feet and drag you to paradise. You're no doubt going to want to head over to their SoundCloud for the free download, and you're probably going to want to continue supporting the talented pair, too, as they project to have some great tunes ahead of them.
