After releasing their debut EP last year, the Melbourne-based duo, De̊ǰa, is back to shake off the dust with the release of their very intriguing new track, "Heavy Water", that kicks conventionalism to the curb. If you're from Australia, chances are pretty good you're already familiar with De̊ǰa, but if not, there's no better way to be introduced to them than through the enchantment of this effort here. Through the thump of the sporadic, rapid-fire kicks and droning synth-bass, the tone that's set here by the duo is completely mesmerizing. Add that with the icey vocals sung, and you have yourself something that sounds like it came from a Tim Burton fairytale.
