I wasn't originally planning on posting a review for The Money Store, mostly due to the fact that I could not get through more than half a minute of any of the songs on this album, but I finally broke down and decided to let you all decide for yourselves what you think. I have to admit that the sheer amount of positive reviews this album has received baffles me. The production blows through like a distorted explosion pitched up to triple time, while the lyrics lack any sort of intention. I understand that Death Grips is trying to push the boundaries, but I sincerely hope this is not the direction hip-hop is looking to take. Despite this less-than-glowing review, however, check out the stream of the album below and decide for yourself what you think. There are a ton of people who seem to be digging this, so if you like it or hate it, let us know!
