Quite often, from the confines of a lonely producer's bedroom, there lies some great music awaiting the perfect time to reveal itself to public ears. In the case of Montreal-based producer, Dead Horse Beats (Patrick Wade), all it took was a breakup and a distraction to create some of the most refreshing sounds we've heard in some time. While some of our favourite tracks such as "Line", "Young Adult", and "Shake No More" stand alone just as well by themselves, other tracks like "Homebound" and "Want To Be Wanted" have us crossing our fingers that a dope MC with a deeper range comes through with a lyrical twist to the producer's Handbook-meets-Kaytranada style for the ultimate banger. Regardless, Single People has us all feeling a little less lonely with its immersive sonic presence, and for that, weve Dead Horse Beats to thank.
