Dilla Plugged In (prod. By J Dilla)

For over 25 years, De La Soul has been putting out timeless music, and still, in 2014, they're working. Most acts in their position would take the safe route and release a celebratory album, but not De La Soul, because this year the hip-hop trio will be releasing two mixtapes and a full-length album. The first mixtape, Smell The DA.I.S.Y. (of which our below track comes from), will feature Pos, Dave, and Mase rapping over J Dilla beats, while the second mixtape, Premium Soul On The Rocks, will feature production from Pete Rock and DJ Premier. And to cap things off, De La Soul will be releasing their eighth studio album, their first new full-length since 2004's, The Grind Date, later this year.
