Over the past year (and some change), Day Wave has been stealing the hearts of anyone who's come across his music. His breezy, lo-fi sound is one that's been a refreshing change of pace to the more abrasive, in-your-face-kind pushed a lot these days, and, frankly, we're huge fans. This past Friday saw the release of Day Wave's first full-length album, The Days We Had, and, like previously released gems "Something Here", "Untitled", and "Wasting Time", the rest of the album is exactly what one would hope for: a non-stop enjoyable ride from beginning to end that's full of nostalgia-laced anthems that are perfect to unplug to given the craziness that is the world sometimes.
