Since we last posted about the very enigmatic Swedish electronic-pop act, Day Three, there's been no real palpable emergence for them (we don't think that's what they're going for just yet); however with "Gold", their latest track, what they have is something that's going to resonate with a lot of people. "Gold" isn't just another good pop tune—it's incredible and very creative. Taking the focal point of why we're so infatuated here is its production, as it's truly fascinating stuff. One minute it's slow, weird, and methodical, and the next, pulsating drums and horn-like, super-manipulated synth sounds that you would normally not associate with this kind of music blast out. We love the dichotomy, and we think it's safe to say Day Three has outdone themselves with the well-detailed effort.
