In the best interest of your obscure, worldly band knowledge, you better add the Swedish electro-pop act Day Three to your list immediately, because their music is as interesting as it gets. Shrouding themselves in the no info/no social media angle, Day Three look like a band that is just testing the waters with only a handful of plays on SoundCloud from their three released tracks. If you've had enough of music sounding the same when you see the electro-pop tag attached to it, you're going to be in for a sweet surprise with Day Three. From their three offerings ("Pathetic", "Anxiety", & "Give Me Color"), you get an immediate sense that this band possesses pure brilliance. It's as if these guys locked themselves in a room for months on end and closed off any external influence. As their bouncy, edgy, and sprightly production suggests, it seems we're not too far off, either, because as far as we can tell, there is really no comparing their sound to anyone else right now. "Pathetic" was our favorite of the three and easily has the most crossover appeal, but for those of you who like the boundaries to be pushed even more so, you're going to love "Anxiety" & "Give Me Color" just as much. We hope this post kicks off some buzz and more plays for Day Three, because we would love to hear more from these guys; and once you guys hear these songs, we're sure you will agree with us.
