Serving as a b-side to "Youth", the non-album track "Smoke" made it's appearance on Youtube yesterday, giving us a glimpse into into the world of Daughter who provide a gripping ballad that escalates slowly into a massive buildup of unruly emotion. Don't think of this song as your typical 'album throwaway,' because if "Smoke" was on their latest album, If You Leave, it would be one of the best tracks on the album, easily. If You Leave is out now.
