Blissfully unorthodox rhythms and catchy melodies characterize the alt-pop perfection that is the verses in 'Compliment Your Soul', which in turn surround an unfortunately sort of oaf-like, big but decently effective, chorus. Dan Croll has only released a few songs never has he released a dud, as it seems he's going for quality, not quantity. Wanna Know is a slightly more minimal track but sometimes less is more.
