Dallas Hill is the latest artist from the city to hit our radar, and his standout single, "Better", from his similarly titled EP carries a subdued, minimalist energy that feeds off intermittent drums that strongly encourage bobbing of the head. The strength of the songwriting is in its carefully constructed simplicity, and, after a few listens, the auto-tuned hook will implant itself in your brain and likely not leave until the end of the day.
