It's always a joy to come across a soft, refreshing sound amid an influx of energetic ones, so count us ecstatic with Faith Ty's (Cypher) own on "Pretend", her latest, Golden Vessel-produced track to emerge in the matter of a couple of months. Within, she's as sweet-spirited a demeanor as any, and with Max Byrne's (Golden Vessel) chillwave air in and around her calm, captivating tone and ethereal electric guitar riffs, nothing but serene soundscapes result. We've no problems with that, of course, as the cooling sonic respite is something we absolutely crave, and we hope with utter sincerity that all looking for relaxing listens stumble upon this beauty of a track.
