Back when cell phones first came out, there was the drunk dial. Then came the drunk text, and now with these smart phones, you can take pictures of your junk, ruin your life with a Facebook status, start beef on Twitter, and all sorts of impulsive, nonsensical actions, all from the connivence of an object that fits in your pocket. Taking note of this is the aptly named, SJV3-featured track, "Drunk Dial", that features verses from Natti, Grieves, and Murs. Based on Natti's verse, it seems he's more of the drunk-dial crowd, but as far as Grieves' verse reveals, his line, "dim-litted picture of my penis", sums up his pitfalls with the use of the new-age technology perfectly. And as far as Murs' smartphone, alcohol-induced fails go, he doesn't indulge much; rather, he chooses to play off Grieves' verse, giving some much needed advice. "Drunk Dial" is the fifth track released from the CunninLynguists' forthcoming album, Strange Journey Vol. 3, that is due out April 1st.
