The timelessness of the CunningLynguists should never be questioned. Album after album and song after song, these guys have been the personification of steadiness over their lengthy careers. Whereas most groups that emerged from the "underground" in the early 2000's have since fallen into obscurity, the CunninLynguists have maintained a relevance that few acts can lay claim to. As you should know by now, the CL is releasing the third installment of their Strange Journey series on April 1st. The album was crowd-sourced when it came to choosing the features and production, and the rarity in that fact alone should serve up enough interest to want to check it out. Naturally, when you make quality hip-hop music, your fans are going to know what's up, and as we hear on "Beyond The Sun", not only is it clear that the CL have retained their timeless roots, but J-Live as well needs to be slotted into that impressive equation as well, because his verse on the track here is absolutely flawless.
