Crystal Conscience was formed in Oregon in 2008 when Chris Love and Jaren Johansen became neighbours and realized they both had a love for chilled-out, feel-good music. Live was a three-track EP originally released last year as a sampler to their larger five-track EP, Shape-Shifter, which was released four days ago, but honestly the same three tracks listed below are the standouts, and for some reason they moved away from the laid-back, acoustic sound that I loved on Live and replaced it with a reverby electric feel which just doesn't work, so check out Live and ignore their newest offering. These guys are perfect for those upcoming summer evenings spent chilling out with good friends.
