My hometown of Perth is getting some more HD love, this time from fresh electronic three-piece Crooked Colours. Hot off the road from supporting RÜFÜS on their sold out Australian tour, the trio are gracing us with their second single from their upcoming sophomore EP. Compared to their previous singles, "Come Down" remains a stripped back affair. The subtle, throbbing bass and the minimal hi hat percussion allow Phil Slabber's voice to croon unimpeded through this dark and atmospheric vista. It is certainly an impressive effort from the Perth lads and we look forward to seeing what else they have to offer when their new EP drops early 2014.
