French electronic producer Crayon made a strong impression with "On & On", a silky-smooth collaboration with French vocalist Jordan Lee, and now today, we're sharing another excellent musical offering from the artist entitled "What I Do" that's again released on French label Roche Musique. "What I Do" is an excellent example of a producer harnessing a classic dance sound and turning it into something unique. Using a vocal sample, twinkling percussion, and juicy, side-chained synths, Crayon knits together an instantly likable texture that could inhabit an iPod as easily as it could a DJ set. It's all clean and exhilarating, and it's another reason why the producer is continually one to watch.
