We're starting to sound like a broken record with all the praise we've been giving these new electronic soul acts that keep coming out from the woodworks of the UK. Thankfully, for our sake, the music that's been presented by every single one of these artists is not even remotely boring, so our coverage is easily warranted (in our eyes, at least). The band at hand here is a new collective from South London that goes by the alias of "Count Counsellor". The collective only has two songs out right now at the time of this post, but it's more than enough for us to sit here and gush about them. From the Boyz II Men-sampling, "Warm Bullet", to the muffled textures of "Collide", we find a a very intriguing sound that is off-kilter and utterly fascinating in the ways it transcends the status quo of the genre. If you're looking for something creative, moody, and downright different, Count Counsellor will have you covered here with their particularly tipsy brand of sound.
