London's Count Counsellor is an act that pushes an experimental soul-meets-pop sound, and we've been delighted to share it the past couple years. Although it has only been about a month since his last single, "Friends", he has a new one out today called "Open Eyes". Having followed Count for a significant amount of time, we're aware he enjoys bringing influences together and packing them in seamlessly, and, while this could be a risky endeavor, we've always been confident in his ability to join them, and his latest track here reaffirms that. Funky synths, warped vocal samples, and light percussions add to a groovy, powerful tune when combined.
