Nineteen-year-old Callum Afcouliotis, otherwise known as "COTIS", is currently making a case for being our favorite new artist of the year. The Victoria, British Colombia native just debuted today with "Phone Light Up", and we're hooked on his great blend of rap and pop. Through melodic vocals and anthemic lyrics on his track here, COTIS conveys nearly tangible energy, and it brilliantly complements the song's fresh, trap-influenced production. Although it has just been released, "Phone Light Up" is one of the most exciting songs we've heard this year, and we're thrilled to begin watching COTIS carve out a lane with his coming sounds.
