Cosmo Sheldrake’s eclectic capturing of a widespread blend of electronic in “Rich” a couple of years back simply did it for us. The Englishman pulled together a vast range of sounds that traversed multiple genres, and by intertwining them delicately into one track, he created a work of sonic art that's irrefutably top-notch. Naturally, then, when we thought he couldn’t push the bar any higher, he did, and a crisp, tightened-up edit of the original is to show for that fact. The fresh copy vacates all excess sounds from its predecessor, and it creates a much more compact and defined feeling, too, by shaving off two minutes from its maiden running time. We’ve found the cleaner vocals and mastered touch are indicative of great growth on Sheldrake’s behalf, as well, and they're effectively cleaning our artistic pallets as we wait and watch closely for his next fantastic track to drop.
