When an artist undergoes a big reinvention, it's tough to say if they will retain their it-factor. Cosha (formerly Bonzai), may be rebranding, but she's keeping what futuristic production and electronic-tinged R&B she earlier appealed to us all with, and we are super happy about that decision of hers. On her new album, R.I.P. Bonzai, Cosha bids farewell to the name and provides a host of new tracks—each tantalizing. Production from Mura Masa, Rostam Batmanglij, GRADES, and Cosha, herself, showcases the best of electronic music right now, and each track brings fresh elements and styles packaged with Cosha's remarkable vocal. A collaboration with NAO on "Brake Lights" is perhaps what we like best on the album, but, if you are just missing music from the likes of James Blake, M.I.A., and Jai Paul, Cosha's R.I.P. Bonzai will more than fulfill that need. Listen to it all below.
