Cortex was a French jazz-fusion band that was active in the 1970's, and by the looks of it, was popular enough to release three albums during that decade. As we find out today though, Cortex technically recorded 4 albums during that time, because in 1979, the duo recorded their 4th studio album (but it never saw the light of day, unfortunately). Now, 35 years later, the duo have hooked back up again to refurbish the old unreleased recordings and release the album properly via Trad Vibe Records. We're not exactly sure how we get ahold of this track, especially since we weren't even on this earth during the 70's. It doesn't matter, though, because the quality of the track, "I Heard A Sigh", is what we're concerned with. Whether you were around for the 70's or not doesn't matter here, because anyone with appreciation for good music is going to be down with this throwback jam, 100%. Stream it below.
