We are seeing countless young, emerging artists surface as a result of how easy it is to put online music, and that is a fact to be appreciative of, especially when the kind like Commonminds come around. We've written about the teen's tracks a couple times on the site before, and, although he's relatively undiscovered, we think it's safe to say he's on the verge of breakout. The New York-based rapper's newest track, "Drown", is definitely one of his most complete yet (production and extra vocals are provided by fellow teenagers Frankis and Maya, respectively). Over an easygoing beat, Commonminds' relentless verses come naturally and in a silky-smooth way, and they ultimately convey a nostalgic, repeat-worthy vibe. We're seeing constant improvements with every single release from this guy, and, as a result, we're going to keep glued to what efforts of his are yet to come out. ("Drown" is the seventh out of a series of twelve, with one track releasing every month.)
