With only a single in "Penelope" and a feature in "Smart Aleck Kill" to his name, London-based artist Col3trane was already on our radar as a talent to watch, but this mixtape puts him in a whole new realm. The project, Tsarina, is a very tastefully concise ten tracks that matches concept with execution, and, its sound, like much of today's best music, is a smorgasbord of genres, picking up rap flows, soulful runs, and whatever-the-hell Frank Ocean did upon Blonde.
