It appears that the majority of hip-hop artists nowadays have come to adopt a type of “I need to do it by myself” mentality, preferring their own unique vision over the collective creativity that a larger entity has to offer. Fortunately, there are hip-hop groups such as Detroit’s Clear Soul Forces that shed such ideology, maintaining the adage that two heads (or in this case, four) are better than one. In “Beats x Rhymes x Life,” the quartet discuss their individual clamoring with the pen and pad, and urge the listener to infuse some soul into their life. The track is the first single from their upcoming project Gold PP7′s that is set for release later this year.
