Forecasting a promising career in music based on one song is a tall order, and even though CLAY, a San Francisco-raised, Los Angeles-based newcomer, has two songs in one with debut effort "Wildthing/3's A Crowd", you can tell she's an act bound to stick around. Within the first half of "Wildthing", she shows off her varying cadences, and, on the second half, she slows it down and airs out some of her past love experiences, which, for most artists, shows there's a well of material yet to come.
