As is the case with many of today's rising young stars, Clairo's success story feels rooted in her distinctly authentic personality. Since her cute and well-timed "Pretty Girl" video, she's totally capitalized on her generation's social media culture, and, while we felt her music, itself, wasn't quite "there" yet, it's totally plausible that her "in-progress" sound made her relatable to many. With all of that said, we are now offering our sincerest accolades to both Clairo and her team for elevating her sound on Immunity, her gorgeous debut album. The whole project is produced by herself and Rostam Batmanglij, and the pairing has done justice to Clairo's spellbinding sound. We are now on the Clairo bandwagon, and this record has made it clear that she is here to stay.
